Our Story | Land + Barn + Lavender
Oh where to begin….our story is more like a 12 year long journey of figuring out how to give brides and grooms an experience of a lifetime. We actually didn’t start out doing weddings and events at Jamestown Ranch. Our dream was to grab this little piece of paradise just outside of Greenbrier, Arkansas, buy some horses, and raise our family out in “the country”. The year we moved in, we hosted a wedding for a close friend. After that wedding, we started getting requests from other friends and family to host outdoor weddings at the ranch and inside the riding arena of the horse barn. Back in 2012 there weren’t any barns in the area hosting weddings or events. The closest barn to one like ours, was one in Dardanelle area.
We officially opened up the ranch for weddings and events. Each wedding has provided us an opportunity to meet hundreds of couples and their families. We turned our passion for seeing couples exchange their vows at our place into an opportunity to ministry to couples during this special covenant time.
Our journey has been an exciting one, full of countless hours of keeping the ranch updated to make the it truly unique.
In 2021, working under the leadership or the University of Arkansas Agricultural team, we tested our soil, our slopes, and decided our rocky dry hill side with the constant wind was perfect to do a test plot of 300 lavender plants. The test plot went very well and yielded thousands of beautiful and fragrant blooms. Based on this success of the test plot, we added another 300 plants in two separate fields in early 2021. Now have 600 plants in 3 locations on our 25-acrea. This makes Jamestown Ranch the largest producing lavender farm in Arkansas. We are accelerating our plans to expand the lavender business in 2023 to host more lavender themed weddings, lavender events and festivals. We are actively partnering with partnering lavender co-ops to sell a small set of lavender products. We are also seeking other partnering opportunities that fit well with the relaxing lavender theme.
We have come a long way over the last 12 years and that hard work is paying off. We were amazed that our fans voted us – Faulkner County’s “Best of the Best” wedding event venue in Central Arkansas.
The now climate-controlled barn venue has been transformed from a working horse ranch and indoor riding arena to an iconic wedding barn. Mostly all of the ranch has been slowly, thoughfully, and creatively reinnovated and repurposed to keep the charming Ralph Lauren Rustic vibe and provide a relaxing tranquil drama free events, so you can enjoy the panoramic views and unbeatable golden sunsets at your events.

Corporate Team Meetings

Surrounded by peace and tranquility just outside Greenbrier in the Wooster area, our venue offers the perfect escape from the office to connect, have fun, and feel inspired. Choose from a range of activities that integrate our lavender farm and game room for a fun team-building experience. Whether your goal is to improve culture, build stronger relationships, or simply relax, we will help you create an experience that meets your team's needs.
All custom experiences include box lunches with tea, lemonade, and water and for 6 hours with 15 attendees. (Rates vary based on specific needs)

Work with our event director to design a fun and relaxed competition for your team, incorporating your creative ideas for a fun and engaging competition. Our indoor facilities include pool, ping pong, foosball, baggo. Other options are seasonal, but include horseshoes, fishing competitions, basketballs, pickle ball (coming soon) providing ample opportunities to roam around the ranch for some friendly competition and experiential team bonding.
